i-Security proudly awarded as “Editors Recommendation” by China Network World.
i-Security SP-5500 was awarded the “Editors Recommendation” with its high performance, stable and expandability features. SP-5500 is a purpose-built hardware firewall secured by Check Point, with i-Security's Security Enhancement Chip (SEC) and TCP/IP offload engine (TOE) technology, seamlessly integrated with Check Point SecurePlatform, unleashed the power of Check Point technology.
-- Performance
i-Security SP-5500 is equipped with four Gigabit Ethernet network interface, with a firewall throughput of 3.2Gbps. The hardware has also built-in SEC and TOE technology, these technology offload a large portion of procession burden from the software to hardware, hence enhances performance.
-- Application level protection
New attacks are making use of well known application ports such as port 80, 443, and targets at the vulnerability of applications through HTTP. Therefore the application defense mechanism is vital. Check Point's Application Intelligence technology does not use the pattern matching or signature based technology, instead, AI examines whether the data complies to protocol standard and explore potential hazards within the traffic. With the full control and knowledge of protocol content, Check Point can manage P2P applications, worm attacks with high accuracy and granularity.
-- Expandability and Scalability
i-Security SP-5500 has a rich feature set of expandability, from Fast Ethernet adapter expansions, Gigabit Ethernet expansions to Firewall and VPN accelerator. End-users can up-scale their i-Security appliance as their business expand.
“i-Security SP-5500 appliance has a reach security features, and impressive performance benchmark, it out performs other brands that we tested in the same testing event, we definitely believe it is a perfect choice for enterprise information security.”, commented China Network World's Editor.

Manufacturing industry recognize i-Security solutions
A well-known wafer-fabrication manufacturer deployed i-Security to protect and connect their Asia networks. The corporation is based in Wuxi, China, with operations in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
The difficulty before the deployment of i-Security solution, is that, customers uses dialup to connect to business partner network, and support staff from overseas connects to headquarter by dialup, it is unsafe and slow performance. With a project to enhance security standard and reduce long distance dialup fees, the Corporation plans a VPN and firewall application to be installed.
i-Security SP-4500 is deployed to the organization with central management, this reduces the cost and enhance performance. The centrally managed firewall and VPN does not require support personnel to be located in every location which then reduce cost.
